My experience and interest lie at the intersection of digital design and technology. The journey started with graphic design and ultimately led to user experience design for digital products. Along the way I became fluent in the “how” of design tools which freed up capacity for growth in skills related to the “why.”

Understanding the challenges of business partners enables me to become a consultant and active contributor to solutions. This view into the digital design impacts me as a consumer. To repeat a common sentiment, “technology is great… when it works.” Technology improves over time which is driven by consumer expectations and made possible by effective user experience design.

My philosophy is that digital products have the potential to improve health, safety, education, prosperity, and meaningful human connection. This drives me forward to expertise in UX design.
